June 25, 2009. Micheal Jackson dies of Cardiac Arrest.

A childhood favorite from back when I still lived with my mother. Michael Jackson was one of my mother's favorite artists, and being in the same room as her and watching the videos, I was always amazed by his dancing and his music. I was never much of a musical person, but I couldn't help but love that style and it wasn't until older that it started coming back again. I was overjoyed and laughing like crazy when he was acquitted on all of his charges.

When my mother passed away years ago, my father listened to some of his music and I was there to watch his DVDs as well. It was then that I got back into Michael Jackson's music and reestablished him as one of my favorite artists. What really did it was when I went to go to hhgregg to get an HDTV. Checking out a stereo system, the guy working with me had a mix CD and the song on there, "Billie Jean", almost had me dancing at the store.

Anyway, I felt like reminiscing right there. I got the Thriller 25th Anniversary, the first Michael Jackson CD I ever bought and listened to it, nearly wearing myself dancing to it all the way. But I will never forget his style and his contributions.

R.I.P. King of Pop. Michael Jackson, you will always be remembered as a legend.

Easter time

Sat Apr 11, 2009, 11:20 PM
Hey guys, Happy Easter. Don't get overfilled on eggs or rabbit meat, now!

Just so you guys know, I've been here the whole time. I just haven't bothered to update my journal since not a lot of drama comes into my life, but sometimes it's not so bad that way. I'm visiting relatives for Easter, which is pretty much the most eventful thing I've done for Spring Break. Believe it or not, I'm getting close to done with my 2-year degree in college. After this quarter, I take one more and that's it for there, and then it's time to move onward.

Anyway, till next time. Peace!

Did you guys have a good Thanksgiving break?

Sat Nov 29, 2008, 11:21 PM
I did, but not before a serious problem occurred late the night before Thanksgiving. I ate too much food too quickly, and I ended up having go to the ER. After waiting three hours, the doctor finally gave me some meds and I was better about 10-20 minutes later, so I could go home at about 3:30 A.M. Fortunately, I was good enough to enjoy a dinner at my friend's house, with his family, so that whole thing was resolved and I knew never to overeat for Thanksgiving...especially before the turkey!

Feel like I've been on another gaming binge lately. Recently, I picked up Sonic Unleashed, Castlevania Judgment, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix, plus I got the latest expansion from Metal Gear Online, the Meme Expansion. But I've been hooked on SF2 online, so it was truly worth it. Castlevania Judgment is also surprisingly good, but I wish I could find more competition online. When I search, no one is game, so I gotta deal with the mediocre single player modes. At least the online is 100x superior to Brawl.

Anyway, I really need to finish up some homework. I have about a week's worth of Statistics homework due tomorrow and I need to take care of another assignment as well. Hope you guys have a good rest of the year!

The big day is finally here!

Mon Oct 13, 2008, 5:33 AM
As of today, I am no longer a teenager. But as with any birthday, I honestly feel little difference. Actually, I don't think I've felt a significant difference at all since I turned 16, so no biggie. It's just a number.

In any case, I threw my party yesterday and my friends and I all had fun and played a buttload of different games (Brawl, MvC2, SC4, etc.) with an obligatory serving of pizza.

Anyway, today came around and I had to go back to classes...or so I thought. Turns out I should have done my homework even before they started because apparently, Columbus Day counts as a school holiday. Perhaps I should just retire for now and wake up later this afternoon.

See ya!
